Restylane Injectable Filler
Restylane is the number one selling injectable filler in the world. Both men and women have experienced a more youthful and refreshed appearance with Restylane. Common treatment areas include nasolabial folds and creases at the corners of the mouth. Restylane can also be used for lip enhancement. Volume and fullness is restored immediately after treatment with results lasting up to 18 months with full correction.

What is Restylane?
Restylane is a clear hyaluronic acid gel that is indicated for the treatment of moderated to severe facial wrinkles. It is also the only injectable filler approved for lip enhancement. It has been used in over 15 million treatments by men and women around the world since its introduction over a decade ago. The hyaluronic acid is formulated from non-animal sources, making it safe for most people.

How does it work?
Restylane is specially formulated to mimic the hyaluronic acid found naturally in the body. It restores fullness and volume immediately after treatment and improves the long term moisture content of the skin. For optimal results, full correction should be achieved. Once full correction is reached, a follow-up treatment is recommended four to nine months later. Results can last up to 18 months. The amount of Restylane needed to achieve full correction will vary. Over time, the Restylane will be broken down within the skin just like natural hyaluronic acid.

What to expect?
Restylane treatments are quick with little to no downtime, providing a more youthful appearance in under an hour. The amount of Restylane needed will be determined by the Dr. Suls prior to treatment. Restylane is now available with lidocaine to help minimize discomfort during treatment. Common side effects of Restylane treatment include brusing, swelling and redness. These can be diminished by using an ice pack after the Restylane is injected.
